Nipples come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, most women will have protruding nipples, but some can be flat or inverted.

These differences may not affect your ability to breastfeed. Although if one or both nipples are flat or inverted, you might find it takes you a bit longer to get breastfeeding established.

You may also be able to take steps when you’re pregnant or just after your baby is born to help your nipples stick out more.

All mums can breastfeed no matter what size or shape breasts and nipples you have. Check out our challenge playlist for more support.
